Person that I admire馃挭
Nerea de
Ugarte L贸pez is a feminist psicology . She was born in vi帽a del mar and she is
thirty something years old, she study psicology at the university andres bello
and then she specialized in sexuality and female empowerment.
she performs therapy with a gender perspective
and is an activist
in the feminist movement, she founded two feminist collectives: the rebellion
of the body and brave girls, also in 2019 she created an interactive book for
childs call “neither quiet nor perfect”, in this book she invites the girls to
be aware of stereotypes to rebel against them at an age that is key to avoiding
further damage. Also on youtube she has many talks available
about myths founded in a macho society and she explains through many arguments
and understandable language how this obeys our capitalist system, and in short,
how the some people profit from our insecurity.
I like her because I think its very critical and works hard to raise awareness and help women, also she does a very transversal work with communities that greatly need this kind of support. I would like to work one day as the same way she does because I think that we are living in a time of change and we have to be part and contribute. 馃挭馃挏
